We’ve been following closely the development of some social media platforms and for this week wanted to share the most influential tweeters from Dominican Republic in 2010.
And the winner is….. drum roll please….

This list was compiled not just by comparing followers, but the activity on the account and the effectiveness of their tweets .
Variables considered: 1) the number of followers. 2) how many followers follow those followers (say that 5 times in a row) 3) frequency of updates 4) retweets and metions.
Other personalities like Juan Luis Guerra or Marcos Diaz, while having a high follower count, where not as effective.
